Yes. MintCheck is free for up to 5 assets on one site, with no time limit and no credit card. You need a card only when you add more than 5 assets. ### What counts as an asset? An asset is anything you put a QR code on, such as a fire extinguisher, a restroom, a vehicle or a paper logbook. 1 asset = 1 QR code. Assets are counted across your whole organization, not per site. ### Do you charge per user? No. Every plan includes unlimited admins, workers, checklists and checklist items. Only the number of assets and sites decides your plan. ### What happens when I reach my plan's limit? Limits are firm, and going past one never triggers an automatic charge. MintCheck asks you to upgrade instead, and you upgrade only when you choose. Pay as you go covers up to 30 assets on one site, Business up to 200 assets and 3 sites, and Master has no limits. ### Can I try Business for free? Yes. Business is free for 14 days. A card is required, and you can cancel anytime during the trial. If you don't return to pay as you go before the trial ends, your card is charged $199 per month. Each organization can use the trial once. ### Can I pay yearly? Yes, for Business and Master: $1,990 and $2,990 per year, which gives you 2 months free. Pay as you go is billed monthly only. ### What is the direct assignment add-on? On pay as you go, the add-on lets you assign work tasks to specific workers for $35 per month. Business and Master include direct and tag-based assignment. Tasks attached to an asset are free on every plan. ### How do upgrades, downgrades and cancellations work? Upgrades start right away, and your card is charged a prorated amount for the rest of the billing period. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the billing period, with no refund for time already paid. You can downgrade only to a plan that fits what you use today. ### How do I pay, and are taxes included? Prices are in US dollars. You pay by card through Stripe, and MintCheck does not store your card number. Applicable taxes are calculated at checkout based on your location. Upgrades apply immediately. Cancellations and downgrades take effect at the end of the billing period, and a downgrade requires your usage to fit within the lower plan. All prices are in USD.
